What do you mean?
-
"Hey! We're on a plane!"
-
Aaah Ted, I've just remembered that we're all going to die."
Nothing spoils a plane trip like being reminded of your mortality.

That was a medical condition

@shadowkitty56 Seems like you've put a lot of thought into this! Have you put forward your ideas to Channel 4?

@tehn00bpwn3r by females under age 45 in swimsuits.
Crilly is long gone and the gloves are off. As bad as things were for Father Ted, they are going to be jaw dropping for Bishop Dougal.
-
@tehn00bpwn3r Dougal's bad ideas and worse mistakes (in Italy he finds a solid gold ring and thinks its a great way to raise funds, so he auctions it on Ebay... in spite of " the stupid Fishermen on it.") His uncle is retired, yes, but suspiciously drops by a lot to fawn over the handsome secretary man Dougal has. And somewhere in all this, Dougal has to be the coach of the swim team for the Poor Clares and help them win tournaments.....but that means being surrounded ->

When your uncle is the Cardinal of Dublin and your Ma is a nitwit who thinks she got a divine revelation from a television drama of Joan of Arc, your career options are limited.)
Dougal is less wide eyed than he used to be, but just as dumb. He's finally learned to say Mass, but his sermons....well, let's not go there. He plays with a Nintendo DS in the confession booth. His secretary, the actual brains behind the operation, keeps getting into situations where he has to nullify ->

@tehn00bpwn3r Yep. But you realize by now Dougal would be a man in his forties. If they decided to spin this show off, it could definitely work:
Dougal gets promoted to being a bishop; they put him there because they needed a patsy who had a clean record to appease the public after much bigger scandals hit than the ones that confined him to Craggy Island. (That, and we find out exactly how he got into the priesthood at all CONT)
