everything in the bible is there for a reason... just for the simple fact that God made everything, doesn't that alone mean he can make the rules also? rules are for our benefit... thou shall not kill... you will tick off a whole lot of people who knew the one killed... adultery, have you been on the wrong side of a break up? homosexuality has a higher illness rate. i remember an insurance company saying those of that lifestyle's medical bills were 17% higher over all...

@AxlesOfFate They were godly men who did exactly what the Lord told them. I am a woman and I am a christian, in that culture woman and children had no power. Christ jesus gave them power, gave them a voice. He said listen to the children, a woman is who saw him risen from the dead first. and as for homosexuality. What do scientists know? It is imoral and wrong, they should be loved and helped. But who are you to say the bible is wrong? It is the word of God, he values it higher than his name.

im christian but the bible was very inspired by sexist racist people. Homosexuallity is a sin well according to the bible, but according to scientists people are born gay. Hate is brought upon people who are gay from the bible that is supposed to bring love. The bible is not perfect with all its inconsistancies it has just like the people who wrote it.
