i first heard Louis on his (overdrive ) album. and i was blowen away. Louis Stewart "Morning Of The Carnival" on youtube is good exemple to .i like that solo. thank s for posting some good Martino s stuff!!

Pat Martino is a very unique player. When he plays from the heart, it takes the listener to different dimensions or should I say a different state of mind? What he hears is expressed quite differently from most guitarists. He spent the early part of his life around John Coltrane and he was a understudy of Dennis Sandole. It seems like what Pat Martino expresses through his improvisation derives from his exposure to greats in his youth. That social environment!

wow! Pat is so great. one of my fav. i like that kind of vocabulary. Louis Stewart is one of my fav to. i kno its different but both have a flawless jazz vocabulary.
