Fans are scary sometimes. They do not understand celebrities are just human beings. I'd get scared if I was Manny if some fan in a big group starts screaming and going crazy. It might turn into an angry mob or contain some deranged stalker who wants some attention by attacking a celebrity. The best way to meet personally celebrities are in private parties or PR events where they are introduced to you. It's weird just coming up to them and bothering them.
