@lexusqueen10 they're going to think indians are a bunch of weirdos. This was made in the 1960s, a time when people were not racially sensitive. they thought native americans were savage, wild, and did weird barbaric dances. so saying "its not intended to offend" doesn't make sense.

i remember watching this movie as a kid in my grandparent's basement (technically storm cellar, but whatever, it was Oklahoma) and absolutely loving it. every time we went to visit them i would run down there, pop it in the VCR, and become mesmerized by the colorful and fun settings and songs of this movie...i miss it so much

@lexusqueen10 Rofl, are you sure about that last statement? I'm Native American and when I saw this movie at five years old, I thought it was sooo weird, because I knew they didn't even come close to representing real Natives. It made for a good laugh when me and my sister were making fun of them...we thought they were seriously ridiculous.
