Good point. I had intended to also post Bob Dylan and Mavis Staples re-creating this skit on the "Gotta Serve Somebody" album, but Capitol Records didn't like it. Check it out, though.
Thanks for posting this great clip of the Carters and Jimmie Rodgers. But just one quibble. "T For Texas" was issued as "Blue Yodel #1", in 1927. "Blue Yodel #2" was "My Lovin' Gal, Lucille." It was released in the spring of 1928.
That was recorded at 12th June 1931. 80 years ago today (12th June 2011)
