PAP general tries to stop Aunty from talking to reporters!

The reporter was asking the Aunty regarding her support for the PM at a PAP Rally. She was from another constituency and had been given free transport and food to attend. When the new walk-in MP Gen Chan (Kee Chiu -Hands Up) saw the interview, he moved in like a commando, stepping in between Aunty and the reporter.

Hmm...I thought this is terrible!! Getting the older, probably less educated and getting them not only to the rally BUT PROBABLY TELLING THEM TO VOTE PAP!! Is this wrong??? So sad for those who "innocently kena con to vote PAP". So cheap right? One bus trip and one packet of rice.....What is happening to our country???

@Bratzpipe yes, I think the headline is a bit misleading. But let's not look only at history. What's done is done. I mean, I used to wear braces so I would have nice teeth, but do I insist on wearing them now that I don't need them any more? I'm not saying the PAP is no longer necessary, of course. But times change, challenges change, and voting for the PAP just because they'd done something right before isn't the way forward. They have to earn our vote too.

I would not want to repeat this for fools like all of you... So yeah lemme tell you PAP has helped Singapore prosper and the reason why we are hating on pap is? Makes no sense... @Bratzpipe Well, if you're well informed enough, you would know that he wasn't being that friendly right? I mean, forcing those old people to go for the rallies by using food as a lure is just a tad horrid. Can't they just respect the elderly, it doesn't make any sense. I guess you didn't do much research about this. :/
