  • I loved this movie, it's on my list of my top 10 films, I could care less what a majority of people think or reviewers thought, i found this film to be the best post disaster world film ever made, it was a heck of a lot better than those stupid Mad Max films.

  • I love this movie also, regardless of what others think of it.

  • I'm not much of a Costner fan but this is an execlent movie. I saw it when it came out and couldn't believe it tanked? Great flick.

  • strange how badly reviewed this was, i always thought it was quite good

  • 4:00 - 4:50 is where its at, rest is just noise.

  • One of my top 10's as well, this film will live on long after it's detractors.

Aren't the musicians in this film from Costner's Band?

    I . . .Believe . . .in . . . the UNITED STATES! (head butt)

  • She was great- awesome actress...now what IS her name? The one who made Costner get off his lazy ass.

  • Too many people think that if a movie doesn't have special effects like The Matrix it's not a good movie. I keep saying it's the story that makes the movie. The Postman is a great story and is very well presented. It's one of my all time favorite science fiction movies.

  • I don't understand why the movie won so many Razzies...it's maybe the best Kostner's film

  • Am I the only one who finds the tune at 1:33 - 1:51 particularly awe-inspiring?

  • totally underrated movie.

If critics would have reviewed this movie per correct gendre it would have gotten a higher score.

But who cares,I suppose Harry Potter films don't get rated per gendre, right?

Point is, the storyline is just the background of the play, the message is to have faith and "Hope" (the postman's daughter's name) in the good of humanity, but i'm no critic so who am I to judge...

  • @LauraWhitehead1 who cares what other people think i haven't seen this film in awile i need to watch it again such a great film..
