You don't need to blow the grunt caller for so long, a quick grunt is enough. Also, try not to run so much. Move slowly and look around, the higher scoring bucks are usually less vocal than their smaller brothers so you have to rely mostly on tracking and spotting for them. When you hear a buck it's often best not to head directly for it as there is a good chance you'll spook it. Instead try to find a good position in which to wait and lure him to you.
