  • @89dacosta From what i know by just using creative sound chipsets over the years with auzentech, titanium hd, xtreme gamer, live 24bit, most of the "drivers" problems are very unique to the PC setup You own. Motherboard, PSU, overclocking and even memory timings or its clock rates have influence on sound card.

  • @89dacosta No titanium hd only plays stereo i do not know if it could by digital connectors - i did not bought it to just bypass the best possible analog output. I do not want to change op amps firstly because they need to be paired and secondly i do not know if titanium could handle any hi-end power sucking op amps i mean, original ones gives me just what i need - transparency, big sound stage...

  • @Raider0001 one more thing. I've seen the card, and it's really very very good. But I have one doubt: There are almost no connections. I mean, if I want to plug in a 5.1 or even 7.1 sound system, am I able to do in the Titanium HD? I can do this with the auzentech and the X-Fi titanium. And other question: I know that the op.amps in the titanium HD are replacable. Did you change any of them? If so, is it worth it?

  • @Raider0001 they can't be that bad. Now I have a X-Fi Titanium Fatality, but I don't think the quality is very good and the drivers... well, this is my second creative sound card, and I thought that I wouldn't have problems with drivers, but I still have... But I'll think in what you said.

  • I'm not bigger-is-better maniac, my lamp amplifier burned itself so now i have Gigaworks T20 II and guess what ? they are very very good amplifier inside is build using OP AMPS and that's astonishing prototype construction Creative made - there is no radiator grill inside - just PCB - OP AMPS works natively without heat.

  • @89dacosta don't buy auzentech, they are not built to last long, it is hi-powered construction with standard but audiophile capacitors and if 1 element is going down sound card is going down, creative Titanium HD is very efficient and is much better build quality like absolutely no noise, polymers all around, and also have much more characteristics in sound.

  • @Raider0001 The quality seems to be very good. What mod did you do? I know that the op.amp is replacable. I'm going to buy this sound card in the next days. Tell me your secret =P

  • Now i have completely different setup, with lamp amplifier, sub woofer, higher quality speakers and titanium hd as output

  • Sounds Great
