Leafers

For those who like sideloader and yard waste. Fall is the busiest time of year for yard waste were I can pick up 8 cans or bags of yard waste per house. In this town you have to take your leafs and grass to the greenery or put it out with the garbage. Take a guess were most of it goes. Dumping around 4 cans or bags of leafs per house makes for a long day as I finished this route about 5:30pm that day. At least leafs are lite. I didnt have my tripod or magnet mount. Truck is a 2010 Mack LEU with 26 yd McNeilus body

@Trashman242 That week it was about 4 cans or bags of leafs to 1 can of garbage. Makes for a long day. I didnt finish this route till 5:30pm with one and a half loads.

This way with it being just a leaf pick-up or yard waste pickup, the stuff gets recycled by a shredder and turned into mulch.

oh man i dont miss those days at all. at that rate i take it that you dumped the truck at least twice by the time you finished. do they at least put an extra truck out per section or route????
