  • Im 23 just bought a colum shift 3 speed 89 Xf Panal Van a a little spot rust nothing serious, Better then the Vl for room and comfort, And I got it for $1000 with a rebuilt motor and recon gear box, Hell the Aircon works, Big Large and is my camper and daily driver, Only commodre i like to drive is my dads Vt, the only decent commodre IMO.

  • i was born too late i wanna buy one for 14k

  • back in the day when xfs were $13,000 lol

  • sad to see these xf's in the wreckers yards now... I remember my "pov" pack GLI went forever... I always was sad the fuel crisis was still going.. i would have bought a charcoal/ black Fairmont ghia with a 351 any day!!

  • @meringandan dude it was only the 80s not the 60s not a big difference

  • I like the shadowtone paint treatment...

  • I don't know what you were doing for a job matey like I said I was on $700 a week from the mid 80's and clear $1300 a week now so beats me pal.

  • I was an apprentice and trades people were earning around $300 to $350 a week.

You should not makerassumptions since you dont know me.

    NO NEED FOR RUDENESS

  • I don't know who you worked for or what job you do matey but I was on $700 a week back then as a tradesman... So tell me this why are tradies still on $700 - $900 now ? You had a shit job back then obviously a factory worker or a packer and wages have just not gone up and the previous poster ForzaIV is right you could get a bargain in the old days.....

  • Thats true but would you be prepared to work for less than 300 bucks a week for a 40 hour week, its all relative to wages back then.
