  • Indeed I think that SAT was there first. We were in 1995 working both from Loki at the same time. Loki was at that time quite an experience and the Life Support above Sudan was it as well.

  • I spent some time in Loki in early 1995 working with Air Serv as an aircraft mechanic.

  • @johnxaxhays

Thanks for your reply. Everybody who was at Loki during that period did a great job.

  • I was in Loki in 1989 with ICRC. When I first went there it was a tented camp and after a few months the new buildings were finished. Great place had a ball there Always enjoyed the leave in Nairobi as well!!!

  • ICRC and all the others did a great job in and out of Loki, at least that is the impression I got during my rather short stay. Anyway, thanks for your comment.

  • my name is Wayne i was in Loki with Fred we were Mechanics with Transafrik

    1999

  • Dear Wayne,

  • SAT was there first. Dirt strip, tent accommodations, hell of a lot of fun.

  • @Dreke2331 and thanks to you as well. Where are you today?

  • I was in Loki in early 1995 working as an aircraft mechanic with Air Serv.
