Check the Nighthawk website, no magnaport on either model

  • Nice piece. I own a early gen (like when NH first started) GRP Recon and a late 2011 Enforcer. Both are excellent shooter but I really see finer action job on the late model gun (BTW, the Phillips built the GRP so its no turd ).

  • As awesome as this looks, still a Kimber guy. Haven't had a good history with Nighthawk quality, both coatings and parts. Maybe its just me, but there is no replacement for my Kimber Custom II.

  • Both guns have Magna-Port compensators,or my eyes goin' bad,if so

    why not mention it !!

    Thanks.

  • Those are beautiful.

Are you a 1911 smith? Do you have all the tooling and milling equipment setup? You have to understand that there is more than just an aesthetic difference between a 500 dollar 1911 and one that costs 2,000+. If after actually taking the time to research the differences, if you still feel that the price isn't justified, don't buy one. But sending your 1911 off to a reputable smith to have this type of work done isn't exactly going to be cheap.

  • still think colt is better

  • What kind of benefit does that slide design even have?

It looks like most of this stuff you could to to your own 1911 and only pay about a quarter of what they're asking.

  • @pray4chicken Yeah what a great pistol, I think the model should be called "Costa" lot of money.. lol

  • if i had $3500 i'd totally get one
