This is quite entertaining.

@mightyquincy109 You don't need to ever apologize for having an opinion. You play this beautifully, I enjoyed it very much.

amazing! really good job, i think Chopin wrote this song so that it would be played with accuracy instead of feeling(which is what you did). After all, it was written for the military of that time. Bravo!(:

Calm down. Pick a tempo. Go with it a little better. And put some heart into it.
-
dude, that shit is so dry. Try some feeling!
-
That sounds great! what kind of piano are you playing on?
-
Waw! You really made this sing!

@mightyquincy109 I know where an arrangement of this is for left hand alone, if you were interested.

I have to say that was very well played. I'm playing this piece for a recital next week and I've been looking for videos to see how other people have been playing it and all I've been finding are really fast, really messy interpretations. But I very much like yours and your dynamics were good and technically it was wonderful. :)

It seems almost comical that you criticise other performances and then play like this. This must be one of the most mechanical and unsentimental performances I've heard on here (I don't really care for thumbs up or down, just had to let my objective thought be known). It would be good to know the author you're playing before attempting anything. If these are honours students nowadays then God help us.

I'm sorry you feel that way. If you have any specific suggestions I'd be happy to hear them. I respect you for your opinion as a musician. Which other performances did I criticise? I can't say I remember, but you seem to have taken something personally. I apologize if I offended you or someone you know, it was not what I meant to do. I only meant to share my opinion about whatever performance on which I commented.

It isn't a problem and I am not offended. You are very accurate technically but I felt that it didn't venture any further than its technical merits, as far as interpretration goes.
I think it was a response to criticising Igoshina's performance but perhaps I overreacted, due to the way you criticised (not very humbly)....I'm not in love and that performance isn't perfect (the missing measures are irrelevant) but saying 'not even I would do that' is taking it too far.
Well done, overall.

Ah, I see. First, I adore Igoshina. I idolize her. I was not criticizing her, but the way she was probably told to cut down the run time of the piece. You misinterpreted what I said. I meant that a professional like her wouldn't leave out parts of a piece out of her own free will and even an amateur like myself would know that. I'm sure the producer of that video session told her to shorten the piece for time constraints.

how long did it take you to learn this piece? It's very well done.

I got the music under my fingers in a little less than a month, but really getting the piece to where I wanted it in terms of interpretation and accuracy of notes and rhythm took another month or two after that.
