Fear & Loathing in British Film: In Conversation with Tony Grisoni

British Screenwriter Tony Grisoni (Red Riding, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) talks to Bill Lawrence (Reel Solutions) about his career to date, from directing and producing short films, to emerging as an internationally renowned screenwriter. Topics include the provenance of his successful partnership with Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Tideland), the process from book to script and what inspires him as a filmmaker; from collecting stories to drawing on real life experiences.

This highlights video was recorded at 'Show Me The Money', an event exploring new financing and production strategies, which took place in Leeds on 17th February. The conference formed part of the Triangle development programme aimed at connecting and supporting filmmakers across the North, an initiative of Screen Yorkshire, Vision + Media and Northern Film & Media, supported by Skillset's Film Skills Fund.
