NBA legends: Clyde Drexler

Este hombre si que volava... algo dificil de ver esos mates que hacia entre sus defensores, esquivandolos de cualquier manera o intentando derrivarles en el acto. Pero no solo eran los mates su especialidad, ´´The Glide´´ era un escolta muy completo que dio paso a una generacionde jugadores a su estilo como Michael Jordan. Su universidad de inicio fue la de Houston donde sorprendentemente fue elegido en el 14º puesto del Draft de la NBA por los Portlan Trial Blazers. En ese mismo equipo no gano ningún trofeo a nivel colectivo de equipo, pero años más fue traspasado a los Houston Rockets donde en el año 1995 consiguió su único anillo junto a su gran amigo Hakeem Olajuwon. Otro componente más del Dream Team en los Juegos olímpicos de Barcelona '92.

I was in chatsworth Ca a couple months ago and i ran in to John salley at the car wash! Being im from portland I told him so and he said I must hate him because of the 1990 finals. I said no but how was Drexler on the court and he said that he had to admit that he was an amazing player and he was one of the most amazing players he ever saw. Thats coming from a detroit bad boy of old! He gave mad props to clyde especially since he was not as good as clyde . But Jon salley has 5 rings to clydes 1

@blackezi3: I'm probably the biggest Clyde Drexler fan in the world. And I hate Kobe Bryant. But I'm also honest. Kobe is a better player.

Clyde certainly did many things better than Kobe. He was a better athlete (faster, quicker, stronger, better leaper). He was a better rebounder, better ball thief and much better passer. He was more efficient and had a better PER.

But Kobe was pretty good in most of those areas, is a better defender, scorer and a much better outside shooter.
