pete murphy , Then i did some searching and found out it was !! i was amazed.

So i loved it so much i desided i would use it for my very first "EVER" animation,

I know its a bit jurky i places but its not bad for a first ! :O)

I have played bauhaus since thay got to gether in the 80's but never knew this

song ? it was one day in 1997 i stumble across it trying to find a christmas song for a mate on "Limwire" . I loved it as soon as i heard it.

To clear up the confusion from somebody who was there.:This was indeed by Porn Orchard, NOT Opal Foxx. Ted wrote the lyrics and sang the Peter Murphy part. Curtiss played guitar and sang the Tom Waits part. I played all the keyboard parts and the single drum part. Ted described the feel and I made up the chord progression, with Ted's help, as I went along.

According to the Stunned site, the song is actually by Porn Orchard and the Opal Foxx Quartet for a 1993 compilation by the Athens, GA magazine, Flagpole's "The Mother of All Flagpole Christmas Albums". With Curtiss Pernice as Tom Waits and Ted Hafer as Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus). I still think the one guys sounds more like Andy Prieboy than he does Peter Murphy tho.

i like the old time Christmas, today's Christmas is shit it's all retail advertisement crap and sucks as much as the assholes that line up on black Friday to buy china poisoned crap that breaks in 6 months. I'll keep my hard earned money thank you.

It's not Peter Murphy OR Tom Waits.

It's a band called Porn Orchard from a compilation album called "The Mother of All Flagpole Christmas Albums" which was put out by Flagpole magazine in the early 90's.

Neither Peter nor Tom has ever sang this song, have never collaborated and as far as I'm aware have never even met.
