One of my very favorite Fontane Sisters recordings. Recorded in 1957 but not released until June 1963 as the B-side of "Tips Of My Fingers", which did not chart. Written by Billy Vaughn.

Sometimes one has to wonder why record companies hold songs for years then release them, this song is grat by a great group but releasing it in 1963 with a definate 1957/58 style of singing and backing is a strange thing to do..Being out of its time no was why it didn't chart.

Yes, I don't know what the record companies are thinking when they do that. Some of the Chiffons recordings were unreleased until the 1970's, when their mid-'60's sound was quite out of place. Needless to say, those singles didn't chart either. Nor did a Ronettes version of "Paradise" which was held for release until the 1970's.
