Just to add, this bill was defeated in Florida a little while ago. Unfortunately, there are virtually identical 'academic freedom' bills being introduced in other states.

In order for students to properly CRITICALLY analyze evolution, they must have access to top research facilities and grant money. As truly questioning a scientific theory requires physical evidence for the contrary theory. As the country does not want to waste funds on children dicking about with grant money, this is not economically feasible.
