I keep the water parameters similar to Lake Malawi (PH8.0/dKH12/dGH6) feed them NLS and water changes 2x50%/week and they breed like rabbits. They are hard to sex, specially when they are young, once females lay eggs is easier to notice the larger hole during venting.
