MD 80 Mini DV camera paragliding test video - Strete, Feb 2010

A short test video I made flying at Strete February 17th. 2010. I first tried the camera clipped to my flying suit sleeve. No good, too wobbly. And almost dropped the camera. Harness chest strap made the camera point to high. Couldn't get it to clip on the front of my helmet. The camera doesn't cope with movement well, but slow pans are ok. I think it would be best mounted on my knee. I accidentally had the camera running in sound activate mode so didn't get much footage. Some of it would have been better I think. It was a very dull grey day, on a decent day I think results would be better? Not bad for a £15 camera.
Flew half and hour but had to land quickly because a rain shower was heading in towards me from the sea!
Subs with Media Subtitler, datestamp blurred with Virtual Dub and Logoaway, and edit Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0

I have the Md80 its very good i attached it to my rc car and made a waterproof case for it you should look at those vids if your interested
