  • I suppose I am a rarity; I am a "white" blue-eyed Creole from Louisiana. I have a mix of several races: Irish, Hungarian, French, Italian, Chickasaw, African, German...and more.

  • @allantecathey I am glad you "took a class, and read a book" that is 99.9% not written by Louisiana Creoles, and I am glad you decide who is Creole or not, now I will gather the other 3million Louisiana Creoles so you can tell them if they are or not Creole?....sorry your comment is funny!

  • The Créole identity is one that unifies Haitians of all races. It’s the language, the music, the food and the culture that connects not only all Haitians but all People of the French West Indies. In Haiti everyone born there is Creole but there are terms to refer to a person or race/racial mix of a person based on a person’s skin color. Haitian creoles are indeed not the same as louisiana creoles and they need to get over it!

  • @iamcreole It may just be because your proud to be Creole but I've never seen someone so interested in everything creole and even makes a youtube account named "iamcreole". I didn't really mean overdoing, but more like trying too hard to prove a point.

  • @RiverwaIker same here, im blue/green eyed dark hair light skin mixture of english german african french native american and trinidadian

  • @Baybeeka16 YOU HAITIAN PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THAT LOUISIANA CREOLES ARE NOT OF ANY HAITIAN DESCENT AT ALL! ALSO HAITIAN DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY EQUAL BLACK. IF ANY HAITIANS DID COME TO LOUISIANA BACK IN THE DAY MANY OF THEM WERE WHITE FRENCHMEN AS WELL AS SPANISH! READ UP ON YOUR HISTORY BEFORE YOU READ UP ON OTHERS!

  • @NatirelMe thankyou! lol

  • @TexadaArmsted wrong, find me one source that says being Creole started in Haiti, my people have been in Louisiana stirring up the pot since the early 1700s and calling it Créole. I think both areas started cooking up Creole together :)

  • @chsn09 we are Louisiana Creoles :)

  • @zydecorobb Thank you! Mési!

  • @nyeeezy very cool!
