@bobisawesome007 c-150 are excellent planes and that is a good price for one.just make sure it hasn't got a timed out engine or one thats close to tbo or you'll be spending more on an overhaul.i've had 2 150 and 172 and loved all of them.they are cheap to operate and maintain and are excellent time builders.good luck on your flying and be safe
Obviously all depends. If the engine is new.. that s not bad.. if the engine is old you might need another 800o grand soon. I loved my old 1966 150.. I wish it had long range tanks. but it costs money and I had to get some to my sons.
@josephdupont really want to buy my own plane, sadly im only 16 with only a cuple thousand bucks, found a 67' c150 for about $16000 just curious on your thoughts if this is a reasonable price or not and your overall thoughts on the 150, and just so you think im not some crazy maniac kid buying a plane for no purpose i can fly and planning on soloing in about a week and getting my ppl and instrument ticket on my 17th birthday
c 150 would be a straight tail 1963

I had a 1966 C-150 and never had enough range. and the cost of extended range tanks were prohibitive. But I loved the old bird.
