Can anyone help me?

My Samsung Digital Camera's files show up as audio files instead of video files like they should. Apparently, there was some sort of CD I needed to install, that I never got, that would convert my files, but now I can't convert them. Yahoo! Answers and Google aren't helping me out a lot. Can anyone help me?


The camera model is SC-DX103. I need to find the software that helps convert video files to a format that Windows Movie Maker read. If anyone finds anything, please post a comment or video response. Thanks.

@ownageguitar This camcorder sucks. lol but deleting files on it, you can only delete EVErYTHING or nothing on a RW dvd. not a DVD R but DVD RW...and you have to format the disk completely you can't delete just one clip at a time. so...yeah it sucks....

The usb cord that comes with it...i've only found that it doesn't transfer your SD card films to the computer its just used to veiw the picture on the computer screen.

as for the DVD's i have Sony dvd's samsungs are harder to find. once you have filled up your DVD with the filming you want to do. go to stand by mode, which will be your main screen. on the inside it will say finalize, finalize the disk...if you dont finalize the disk your computer will not read it.

you need to install the drivers, go to samsung (Dot) c 0 m and look up your camcorder model, then do to "downloads and support" for the camera, then look for the drivers for your computer

I'd suggest downloading boath drivers, and software from the site.
