You are a powerhouse of sound!

A nice effort, I think. Not as good as Van but not bad at all. :)

purty dang good! an observation, your lyrics are waaay tooo understandable! {:-O van slurs his lyrics so badly that if the lyrics weren't commercially available, no one would have the slightest idea what he is saying, at least on some of his songs. and that's what makes van, van. i think your playing is quite accurate to van's original, and live version. YOU HAVE CAUSED ME TO REVISIT THIS SONG AND INSPIRED ME TO RE-LEARN HOW TO PLAY IT. IF I CAN ONLY LEARN THE VAN MORRISON SLUR. {:-D

Very nice work, and I like the vocals. Most chord charts I've seen say e, f#m, a, b6. Is that what you're doing? It looks like you're doing something to modify the B6 and strumming it so it sounds like 5 chords rather than 4. Is that correct?

you got it... instead of takin' the b6 back down to a, i just drop the pinky and play an open e... so essentially i'm goin e, f#m, a-a(hammer on b string)-a-asus9 slide to b6, then drop the pinky off to leave e open... does that make sense?

he's playing those chords a half step lower, he has it tuned to E flat

true... though the original is in E. Most people play it in E so you don't have to worry about tuning down. I simply play most songs a half step down... better for my voice.
