Hey man always nice to see more computer animations.
will you ever come to europe, more specifically, the netherlands. would love to have you here and get some real time help.
hey alien john :D. just a quick question, is this a linear or a buzzsaw move?

Think of these videos as just geometric inspiration. You can make this pattern in a variety of ways. For instance, If you are doing it as a wheel plane CAP, you could put either of your poi (or both) in buzzsaw plane (inversion frame) or none at all.
It could also be done more with linear hand movement rather than a half circle arc.

Jon please give me some tips on how to achieve this!

Try it in wheel plane. Try it as just linear movements up and down at 1st. Then gradually arc your hand path out until it is more like half a circle.

hey jon so how are you counting beats for these? 3 beats = total in each hand? so like 1 1/2 in each?
klafka 2 years ago
nope, just count for one hand or the other. As a reference point, just look at how many times the poi points straight down before the master cycle repeats.
