Whether it’s true or not do you really want to temp something that can destroy both the body and soul? Kind of like you know that driving into a brick wall at any speed is not good for either the vehicle or body there’s going to be damage and after enough times the object becomes unsalvageable and has to be destroyed.

the ironic part is, not only were you supposed to test the prophets - cause you had to kill them if they were false prophets - but yahweh made prophets lie too

and what a twist that is... yahweh makes them lie, so they ARE giving the prophecies yahweh forces them to give (via lying spirits), but they're false, so they get to be stoned to death for saying what yahweh wants them to
