Whoopi Goldberg Explodes At Donald Trump About Obama's Birth Certificate

This morning on THE VIEW, Whoopi Goldberg came close to calling birthers and Donald Trump in particular racist. In a discussion with Trump about President Obama's birth certificate she finally asked him was it about race?

Goldberg: Donald, I think that's the biggest pile of dog mess I've heard in ages! It's not BECAUSE HE'S BLACK, is it?

Trump: It has nothing to do with him being black.

Goldberg: Because I've never heard a white president being asked to show his birth certificate. That's B.S.

It is long past time for folks to start calling birtherism what it is, racism, and birthers, including Trump, what they are, RACIST.

I know that is harsh, but the attempt to "other" President Obama by alleging he wasn't born here is nothing but dog whistle racism intended to imply that he is different and "not one of us."

Instead of the burden of proof being Obama to present a birth certificate, which has done, the burden of proof should be on birthers to prove they are not racist.

What is the big deal about showing one's birth certificate, particularly if they are running for the President of the United States. All presidential candidates should have to show them. I didn't follow this when it was on the news, but I don't understand how such a little thing could become a big issue. I've had to show citizenship to get every single job I ever had. I've had to use my birth certificate. What's the big deal?
