This is my new musical endeavor! 's all me in the records :)

I put together a quick tutorial on how to get a really great acoustic guitar and vocal tone. You will probably find that this will help you out alot, it should save you quite a bit of time. If you watch the whole thing, you'll learn some really important things.

  • You can not get a terrible, terrible mic to ever sound absolutely amazing. you should learn about what ur talking about befor you make an instructional video.

  • @Lextant Okay, so I'll just tell all my viewers to go out and buy $3,000 professional microphones! I'm sure that'll fit their budget!

  • Excellent job. Thanks for this. I'm going to try and get my hands on some of the stuff you mentioned. Thanks from Scotland.

  • @aliwhitwell thank you for the kind words! im glad i could help :) best of luck with your endeavor and let me know when you have tracks laid down and ready for listening!

  • Guitars always have nasty plosive sounds when they say words that start with "p". that's why we (never) use a windscreen to record a guitar, boys and girls, like @ 5:20.

  • @mrp123123123 lol sorry im in class and cant listen to check my mistake in the video, but if youre right, good catch and sorry about that! I meant with vocals lol

  • at 2:16 you say hi mids and low mids.... that is NOT what those to knobs are for... the one you called hi mids is the mid boost/cut (volume) which is linked to the knob below it (the one you called the low mid) which is actually the frequency selection knob (for choosing which specific frequency (Hz.) you will be affecting). Good passion, but keep learning!

  • I love how simple you put everything haha, your humour reminds me a bit of Cosmo Jarvis :)

  • @CriticsConfession and you look like your 17 so dont be such a fuck

  • @CriticsConfession you must be a very shitty audio engineer in that case.

  • @Lextant I've been an audio engineer for years...so I know what I'm saying when I say "yes you can, faggot."

  • Hahahaha don't buy acid. Great video gonna concider buying some off that stuff.

  • @Lextant he knows what he's talking about

cause people that are just learning aren't gonna spend more than $1,000 on a microphone alone

  • Thx ^^ Nice video. I learned some for sure :-)

  • this is shit

  • Thank you for your video. It was very helpful. However, i want to ask you one thing.. Is it possible that by a decent portable voice recorder i get good sound quality for an acoustic guitar using a microphone after which i can transfer the data to my computer and use a software to edit the sound? And can i use a normal Dynamic microphone for recording the acoustic guitar? Thank you :)
