It was Jacob DeShazer's relationship with Jesus Christ, born in a prisoner of war camp, that turned him from hating the Japanese to loving them.

  • If Jesus can change Paul he can change anybody. I thank Jesus for his patients with me, and this spirit of unforgivness in my heart. I wish I could let it go. I really do.

  • Great testimony of God's grace.

  • @louthebody You and me both. Try to listen to what you say in your mind when this unforgivness presents itself. Say nicer things to yourself instead. Forgivness takes time, don't give up on trying to be a better person and you will succeed.

  • GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

  • @yermomsboxx how is it a paradox? many US soldiers are christians. david (king of israel in the bible) was called a man of war but also called a man after God's own heart. as long as your are fighting for a just cause and not being cruel, i dont see a problem with it and i think God wouldnt either.

  • RIP.

May God raise You on His day.

  • Somewhat unrelated, but can anyone explain the paradox of a Christian soldier?

  • Hi Matthew,

"Whom the Son sets free is free indeed"

1st John 1......if you confess your sin, HE is FAITHFUL and JUST to forgive you your sin and to CLEANSE you from ALL unrighteousness.....

you are forgiven..go and sin no more....When you think of these people that did you wrong....ask God to forgive them...I'm sure it was 'their sin' not yours that will set them free...

Love in our Wonderful Savior, Granamama Carol

"What ever you do, do with all your might as unto the Lord"

  • Forgivness is the hardest issue I've had to face. I know everything is being held back from me because of this spirit of unforgivness. I know it's right to forgive, but it's so hard. I pray almost everyday to be realesed from this and forgive the people who did me wrong in life.
