Hi there! It´s great to know there are other people learning chinese painting out there! I have just began too, and people as kazushimura, blueheronart and yanghaiying are doing a great job, so we can learn a lot from them :)

Your bamboo may not be exactly correct but I wouldn't know. They look wonderful to me! Keep it up. That bluegrass sounds pretty good too. What instrument do you play?

I think I have the bamboo stalks correct, but not the leaves. I've never seen the leaves in real life.
believe it or not, those where mostly lap dulcimers being played, it sounds so good because I was playing with champions, mine is the one closest to the mic, I'm an intermediate player, unable to memorize songs because of brain trauma, I read from music tab, I think I would like to have learned the mandolin better, but couldn't get my old damaged hands around the neck or the mandolin

Never would have guessed you had any challenges from the art, the music and the creative engineering on the watercolor tin you did. You are very gifted, and a gift. Thanks for your posts, keep 'em coming.

:) it's been a struggle, but every year I am better than the year before... it took a few years to relearn typing and computers, every day is a chance to improve, never give up, plus I was fortunate I wasn't very far gone. when I'm sitting still you can't tell a thing, it's when I start moving or talking you will notice that things aren't quite right.

hi back at you, I enjoy the experience of Sumi e and Chinese painting, It is so much more relaxing than western painting, I haven't painted much lately but your videos are encouraging.
