The computer is refusing to co-operate regarding new episodes so as escape officer I've decided to upload one that Lt dreamyblue previously did. Which isn't tagged so as to avoid detection- which may mean you possibly have missed it. Anyway this is a Carter squeefest and is always worth a rewatch

This is our first meeting with Flight LtCarter and is his backstory of how he got to Colditz. Testy little thing isn't he?

Cathy Carter is played by Joanna David/Ward whose daughter is Emlia Fox (actually I think you can probably tell that) She's very pale isnt she- though biggyblue informs me that I am currently that pale- I can pull off that haunted fainty Ophelia look. (it's not enough rations, being cooped up in here and total lack of sunshine that's doing it)

I just love the line "Cathy Im going to need a little more from you in the way of support."
I find it a strange phrase to use considering what he needs her support for is so he can go fly insanely dangerous operations over Nazi Germany- seems rather surreal.

Just got in from a day's thesis typing in the library. Rain pelted down on the long walk back. Thoroughly sodden and cold. Thank you Shovewood for saving the day and soothing the fevered brow with a Carter-laden squeefest!! McCallum's in his uniform - all's right with the world :)

Did you remember to use proper Colditz mentality? Start the tunnel from the highest point you can. Bell towers are ideal.

Aw, thanks shovewood :) Forgot all about the thesis when the lovely Flt Carter showed up in classically cranky form. He looks so very attractive when he is peeved.

Incidentally, the hours in the dark bowels of the university library were put to good use. Have devised several cunning escape routes through the rare books section and elaborate diagrams of how a tunnel may be supported entirely with hardbacks.
