Dammit... <3 Robert and Jimmy are the sexiest couple in rock n roll history
-
The only praise comments I see here are from Jimmy Page; yes, he is an incredible guitarist, and this song has one of the hardest solos in Zeppelin's history; but the fact that Robert Plant can still hit those notes 15 years after Zeppelin's demise, astounds me.

@33COOLMAN33 Jimmy Page owns Slash.
Slash is not even near as good as Page

@33COOLMAN33 In my opinion, Slash is more overrated than Jimmy Page. Not saying he's terrible (although i'm not a Slash fan to be honest) but Jimmy Page is amazing, and I think he's better live than studio. But this is all opinion, I'm not trying to start some Youtube argument.

@Luukeeeehh Plant says he hasn't even touched drugs since his child died in 1977. You may believe him or not, but he never was a drug addict. His occasional use of drugs might have been bad for his voice, but I doubt it was the main problem.

@33COOLMAN33 Jimmy Page is underrated. Slash is a good guitar player but doesn't have a super music mind or diversity (musically and guitar playing wise) like Jimmy Page does. Slash would even say Jimmy Page is better. Jimmy Page is awesome live too.

@miki03soimu He still has vocal talent. That's one thing that remains. It might be different, maybe not as loud, but he sings just as good.

You know, the first song slash learned was a led zep song (tangerine). Search up Heartbreaker solo and click the first video. Thats right. Jimmy page owns him.

they play it too slowly heh

i cant help me my opinion is he is overrated. live hes not so good as in studio version

@S0D41 Well, it's a long story with Plant's voice... So it goes something like this: forcing too much, singing with bad mics and even with no mic at all in the band's early years, singing while he was sick, smoking, nodes on the vocal chords - surgery, age. Man, it's an amazing thing he still has a voice... It has changed, but the great thing is that he has continued to be the greatest rock vocalist you could ever find. Have you listend to him lately?
