Although the 800 series locomotives were designed as passenger engines, in their time the F-E-F's hauled more than their share of freight as well. The 844 in its current incarnation as an excursion engine is almost beside the point. Let alone, I don't have scale UP passenger cars and it would look really stupid hauling the semi-scale ones that I do have.

Yes, Premier locomotives run on Realtrax, though you need to watch out for the minimum diameter required for the locomotives.
