@MrPierdole123 Actually, regardless of how it sounds, the "u" is ALWAYS there. The Japanese just don't pronounce it or they pronounce it so subtly that English speakin' people won't notice they pronounce it, much the same as with "Ishida"'s second "i." The Japanese pronounce it as "Ishda." (You can thank the Japanese voice actor for Orihime for that.)

the spelling varies depending on who translates it. remember that the real spelling is in foreign characters and so really there isn't a proper English spelling
