@3O2MuStAnG GW is not entirely destroyed, just disturbed. And GW is one of the 4 IA, so the Patriots can still talk to raiden via the others IA's.

did anyone understand the end of MGS2 (I´m talking about the random messages)?
while you´re going through arsenal gear you´re receiving tons of random messages from the "colonel". otacon finds out all those messages were a product of arsenal gear. now at the end of the game - after arsenal gear is destroyed - you keep receiving those messages. so wtf? anyone explain?
