@FUCKZIONISM666 Yep its all aluminum wire with a copper coating, usually is not all the way coated if you look close. If you had 10 tons yep its worth it, but not one at a time.
easy way to remove use some type of cuttng wheel in a drill cut through the copper windings on one side and using heavy pliers or pry blade lift them out other side in 2 minutes falt ! No matter what size transformer or motor you have ! I just took copper winindings out of two washing machines motors total weight was 10 lbs $3.50 a lb thats $35 plus the metal of both machines weight 500 lbs at .12 cents a lb $60 more $ and the rest of copper connections on switches another $3.50
Some of these recycle rats just dont get it. Here is how you make money recycling copper!!!! Ready??? get all the pennies from 1981 and earlier,,,1982 and newer are 95 percent zinc and 5 percent copper,,,,the older ones are 95 percent copper, 5 percent zinc. Take pounds of pre 1982 pennies,, melt them down. Oh 150 pennies = 1 lb, copper = $3 per lb at the scrap yard,,,so double your money,,,go to the bank get rolls of pennies and start separating the copper from zincs,,it often takes $ 2 make $

Or you could just sell the whole thing to a scrap dealer; in my experience, they don't care whether one has separated the metals or not.
