  • @jowrab yes, very similar especially in writing. if you speak swedish to a norwegian or a dane than they will know what you're talking about. I have scandinavian friends and one told me he understands about 98% of the other scando languages as long as they speak the standard versions, and he's danish.

  • For example, castle. In England it could be pronounced Carstle but in Scotland it would be pronounced Cahstle.
