http://www.stemcelltherapies.org/ No doubt you have heard something about how umbilical cord blood stem cells are being used to turn the tables on many diseases and medical conditions. But did you know that in pure form in small quantities they are making a huge impact in children with cerebral palsy and traumatic brain injury (TBI)? In this very brief excerpt from a university lecture, renown medical pioneer and stem cell expert David Steenblock discusses all this and more, drawing on data obtained from his namesake nonprofit research institute located in southern California. Welcome to "Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Therapy 101"!

  • People need to watch this. Some of the scientific stuff may be hard to understand but basically every birth yields millions of stem cells just as good as embryonic stem cells for treating cancer, heart disease, Parkinsons and many pediatric disorders without the need to kill human embryos. This is being done now. It is curing and treating serious diseases now. This is where we should be focusing our stem cell research.

  • I would like to show this video in a forum I am speaking in. How could I organise it so I can do this? Who do I contact? How do I get it in my power point presentation? I am talking about umbiical cords generally to a group of artists - and I think this video is important that as many people a possible see it.

  • This is AMAZING! Are cord blood stem cells from my sister's cryofrozen cord blood stem cells of her last son's birth appropriate to use for myself, or, are the HLA factors statistically too far from my own? Also, are Dr.'s & researchers only working with newly injured MTBI/TBI patients & the use of stem cells ... or, are they also considering working with patients who have been injured many years prior?

  • Spread the word! The research done by Dr. Steenblock is awesome.

  • Wonderful information and hope for many, without the destruction of human lives, as there is when using embryonic stem cells. Thank you so much for this encouraging information. God bless you.
