@regulatorz no insomniac banned lights because they wanna step away from the rave scene even though their events will forever and ever be considered raves. the public associates drugs with raves so they want to be called a "music festival" instead. but drugs exist everywhere...clubs, raves, music festivals (UMF, Coachella, WMC..etc)...so their ban on lights is very pointless...it might appear to be better in the public's eye but it makes no difference in the scene as drugs will forever remain
