  • The "bumps", on the top part of the foot were refered to as "suf bumps or surfer's knots" which were calcium deposits from knee paddling on the surfboard. The continuing aggrevation while knee paddling caused there bumps to rise.... AND, also kept me out of the service because I couldn't wear combat boots. It was like carrying around a golfball on the top of your foot or both feet for some surfers for that time period.

  • @HanaleiSurfrider ahahahahaha very nice, a got my bumps too!

  • The guy with the beard is Bob Cooper who hung around Malibu and Rincon before he made the move to Australia in the mid 60's. aloha, PPK

  • @HanaleiSurfrider My mistake on the edition!

  • Ho man! Sorry! Ahahaa! My mistake... the song is The Sandals - Wingnut!!

  • The first is Dick Dale - Pipeline and the second is Beatles, but I don't know the name of the music!

  • @booch326 Ah, no - the other way around.

  • Is that Dora getting pushed off by the guy with the beard?

  • @keyair123 ...they are forms of ganglene cysts caused by knees and feet being in constant contact with a hard surface. If you knee paddled a lot back in the day you had'em....that's how you could tell who spent the most time in the water. I still have "knee knots" although they have subsided with time if I knee paddle now they tend to be aggrevating....but then again I ain't as young as I used to be.

  • @55slice are they lesions, abrasions>external ulcers, or wax?

  • @lucasburigo ....Beatles tune is "Roll over Beethoven"..
