Me playing the Law & Order theme on my guitar (just a by ear adaptation, so not professionally transcribed or anything, probably missing some notes...but so what!? :-P)

ADDED: to everybody that sent me a msg asking for the tab for this, sorry guys i don't have it. i didn't use one, and i really don't have the time to transcribe it. but i appreciate the interest!

none are actual chords, i was just screwing around mostly. kinda similar to the main riff off of Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing" a little bit. also, it was in dropped-D tuning

I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying these renditions are "Good."

This song is pretty easy for any guitarist. I was just watching the show and played it on the spot because I just happened to have a guitar in my hand. It's been one of my favorite T.V. show intros for years so I decided to head to youtube to see if anyone else had covered it.

You are hitting the right notes most of the time but the timing is WAY off. I have to give you a thumbs up for choosing to do it anyway though.

That theme instrumental definitely deserves a grammy award. As a matter of fact, all the Law And Order Franchises deserve not only the best TV theme song, but they all definitely deserve an Emmy for best drama in a TV series.
