In this Episode we begin to sew the fabric pieces to the Roly Puppet Pattern together using a sewing machine.
Points in the video:
1) Make certain the grain of the fabric follows the grain of the head pattern
2) Flip the pattern
Sorry about the dropped "red" frames. It isn't on the original footage. This is the second time I uploaded the film and still drop frames???? Anyway, enjoy.

  • Have people ever told you your voice sounds more than bit like Jim Henson's own?

  • @MSMfilm2011 LOL nope- thanks though. I'll take that as a compliment. :-)

  • you were wrong. a sewing machine is never easy to use. for you it is

  • @thedarcevader practice and it will soon become easy. Sorry to hear it is difficult :-(

  • cool. hey i don't have a sewing machine, so it will take more time for me. that sucks.

  • @ParaPerception I've been in your shoes. It does take longer but when you do finally decide to get a sewing machine it'll be the greatest gift ever! LOL

  • My mom won't let me get a sewing machine. She thinks I'm more clumsy than I really am and that I'll sew my hand to the puppet or something crazy. She's way too over protective. Besides, I have wood shop at school. If I can handle saws then I'm sure I can handle a sewing machine. Thanks a lot, mom, for all that confidence in me. .-.
