  • Weagswhacker, let me clarify. They lay their eggs ONE per every other day. Sorry. LOL

  • weagswhacker, Peregrine Falcons don't start incubating until the second to last egg is laid. Generally speaking, average falcons will lay 3 or 4 eggs on an every-other-day basis. So falconwatchers know that if incubation starts after the third egg is laid, they can pretty safely bet that there will be four eggs for the season.

  • wow cool

  • Cool...can hear the wind blowing. What keeps this egg warm when she's allowing the shell to dry out so she can sit on it? Amazing nest of plywood and rocks??!!
