@aawood I apologise, after actually giving minecraft a go (and not just watch a friend playing and me having no idea what he was doing) it is actually quite a good game. I like the idea of survival mode and having to find reasonable shelter for the night, so you don't die.

@Potatoesization Ahh. What we have here is a case of not-knowing-the-story-itis. Bethesda/Zenimax launched a lawsuit against Mojang (the developers of Minecraft) because their new game is going to be called "Scrolls", on account of them owning a trademark on "The Elder Scrolls". And then followed up with the suit after Mojang made some very reasonable counter-arguments. So far, B/Z are losing, because trying to claim no-one can ever use the word "Scrolls" ever again except you is, well, dumb.

@Potatoesization I know, I own a couple of the series myself. My problem is with the Bethesda/Zenimax lawsuit, not the quality of Skyrim (which I'm sure is a fine game, I'm just not going to buy it). So now, back to your thoughts about Minecraft...

@foxtrotHQ Yeah, I was trying to think up a way, possible I should have scouted out a good place to put the portal first. I was expecting great open oceans of lava all around to instantly toss the disk into... and instead I spend a minute running around before placing it neatly in a warm puddle. Ah well ^_^
