  • I see that u are eating carbs...i was told by my Doctor not to have any carbs...What surgery did u have?

  • @Ch1naeyez25: Your body needs carbs to survive and function. I had the vertical sleeve. What your doctor SHOULD have said was dont eat refined and processed carbs.

  • I amseriously struggling to get 60 grams of protien per day. Do you drink protien shakes?

  • @kkimberly2004: For the first 6 months yes....but now not normally. I dont struggle getting in 100 grams a day...eating fish, chicken, cheese, etc. If you dont eat meat there is also soy and quinoa.

  • Hi, I am amazed at how much you can eat, and I don't mean that judgementally. I am 11.5 months out and I can eat about 1/3 of what you show here and often get a "lump" in my throat and/or stomach pains even with that. I'm so jealous! I did expect to eat much smaller but didn't expect all the discomfort. Plus chicken and fish and many other foods make me wanna throw up, so I have alot of foods I can't eat, period. Do you think that'll ever change? The portion part, I mean?

  • @marolkisan: Most likely over time you can eat more. Take advantage of the restriction you have...even though youd like to eat more, when/if it goes away you'll want it back! lol. Its like "the grass is always greener on the other side" thing because at 1st I worried I could eat too much, and other people say they wish they could eat more ;)

  • Hungary girl cook books are awesome as well as cook yourself thin cook books you should look in to them :)

  • @Kellawanda My doctor is adamant about No bread, pasta, carbs unles its a condiment with few carbs! My limit is 30 carbs a day. Your diet is really confusing for a WLS patient??

  • Great presentation! Thanks

  • What time do you typically have breakfast/lunch/dinner (I've heard timings are very important). How soon after surgery could you eat a meal in a restaurant? How soon could you add chocolate to the diet? What about liquids like juices or coffee as the 'snack'? And how much water a day did you typically consume? Sorry for the crazy number of questions but I don't know anyone personally who has been through the surgery, so your answers are the only honest and real ones I can get.

  • Thank you so much for helping us with your video's. are you on facebook?
