Please create an iPad App for Eye-Fi. I'm really excited about using direct mode with my Nikon D7000 and iPad 2!

I'll just have to wait and see to believe it. I'm sure it won't be mobile and you will still have to have camera + iPhone on a wifi network.

@sirgap111 The iOS app is pending Apple's review. Hopefully it will be out soon.

Will this be comptiable between the existing Connect X2 4gb card and the Apple IPad?

@ts2101 The demos we did were on Android phones and tablets. We will announce additional operating systems when we launch this feature.

Yes the Eye-Fi card and mobile device have to be on the same Wi-Fi network. The Eye-Fi card creates its own Wi-Fi network that the device can join, so that it can be a truly mobile solution.
