Great bill if you retired on or after 8/1/2009. Otherwise, your family and your pocket book become big time losers. My husband served 26 yrs, served in 4 campaigns and retired June 1st. He's not eligible. Thanks VA and DOD!

GA-1 congressional candidate Bill Gillespie is fighting for vets and even challenged McCain to support the GI Bill when this first started back in May.

This brings it into a historical perspective, and since we don't teach history any longer, too many people don't know what the original GI Bill was and how it created our current Middle Class! We are neglecting our Veterans, both "over there" as well as "at home." The least we can do is to give them the same opportunity given our GIs after World War II! Editor: Really Pissed Off!
