The final story of my Mother.

Originally posted in October of 2006, I was always bothered by this video on technical and stylistic levels. I re-edited the raw video. Removed the unauthorized clip of Death Cab for Cuties "I will follow you into the dark" and added the new NHotR, and GRINGO REAL elements. And lastly I added the NEW (royalty free) theme for New Heroes of the Revolution, ShadowBox by Rase Grymes. check him out at www.myspace.com/rasegrymes

  • I feel a little wierd re-releasing this, but I put the original up in such a rush that I was never really happy with how it turned out. I thought about doing some other kind of tribute this year but i just decided to make improvements to this video, because my attitude is completely the same and I don't know that I could do or say anything important enough to warrant another project...

  • Thank you for sharing that Souixz. I really think that when we share our stories of mourning and how we deal with it, we can help eachother better understand, that the ones we love are never TRULY gone, just removed from our physical presence.

  • Now I do something different! I just talk to them like they are where I can see them. I feel the presence so strongly..... I know they hear. Thanks for helping me cry!!!

  • January 18, 1985 my Dad died. May 26, 1991 my Mom died. March 12, 1994 my 18 year old daughter died. The part at the end about wanting to pick up the phone and share good news is something I can UNDERSTAND.

  • I remember this from last year. it's still deeply moving.

My thoughts are with you, three years on.

  • Wow..

  • Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Thanks for posting this again. Mom raised a good boy.

  • I watched this with my Mom as well when you posted it last year. It's an incredible story.

  • I remember when the original vid was posted. My mom and I stopped what we were doing and watched. My mom teared up at the end, then told me that was the best way to honor a loved one memory, do as they did.
